Best Portable Grills for Camping?

I’m in the market for a new portable grill for camping trips and would love some recommendations. I’m looking for something that’s lightweight, easy to set up, and can handle a variety of foods. What are your favorite portable grills, and what features should I look for? Thanks in advance for your suggestions!

TrailBlazer23 , I highly recommend the Weber Q1200. It’s compact, easy to set up, and has great grilling performance. The cast-iron grates provide even heat distribution, and it’s lightweight enough to carry around. Plus, it runs on small propane canisters which are perfect for camping.

TrailBlazer23 I second MikeR’s recommendation of the Weber Q1200. It’s been my go-to for camping trips. The propane canisters last quite a while – I usually get through a full weekend of cooking on one canister. The grill is also really easy to clean, which is a huge plus. Have you considered a grill with a built-in thermometer?

TrailBlazer23 I’ve been using the Coleman RoadTrip 285 and it’s been fantastic. It’s a bit larger but offers great cooking space and heats up evenly. The propane canisters are easy to find and last through multiple meals. Plus, it has interchangeable cooktops, which is great for variety. Have you decided on a grill yet?

Thanks for the recommendation, MikeR! The Weber Q1200 sounds like a great option. I haven’t looked into other brands too much yet, but I’ve heard good things about the Coleman RoadTrip as well. How do you find the propane canisters in terms of usage and availability? Do they last long enough for a weekend trip?
