Bow Recommendations for Beginners

I’ve been thinking about getting into bow hunting and could use some recommendations on a good starter bow. There are so many options out there, and I’m not sure where to begin.

I’m looking for something that’s user-friendly, reliable, and not too expensive. What bows would you recommend for someone just starting out? Any tips on what to look for in a beginner bow would also be appreciated. Thanks!

Archery is pretty awesome imo.

I’m certainly no expert, rather more of an amateur hobbyist with basic experience using compound bows specifically.

Currently I mainly use a Mission compound bow….(🤔…can’t actually recall what it cost).

There’s probably better/cheaper options available now-(bought mine around 2-3 years ago)

I should probably mention that I don’t know whether compound bows are ideal for beginners, however this is exactly what I used to start off-(didn’t have too much difficulty)

One thing I would strongly recommend if choosing the compound bow option to begin, is to get a wrist guard…(otherwise, like I initially did, you’ll soon learn about ‘string slap’….(😂)
