I’ve been trying to spice up my campfire cooking game and am looking for some creative ideas that go beyond the usual s’mores and hot dogs. I’m all about experimenting with flavors and making meals that are both delicious and easy to prepare at the campsite.
Here are a couple of recipes I’ve tried recently:
Campfire Pizza: Using a cast-iron skillet, I’ve been making mini pizzas with pre-made dough, tomato sauce, and toppings like pepperoni, mushrooms, and cheese. Just cover it with foil and let it cook over the fire. It’s a big hit with friends!
Foil Packet Breakfast Burritos: Pre-make some scrambled eggs, bacon, cheese, and veggies at home. Wrap them in tortillas and foil. In the morning, just toss them on the fire to heat up – quick and satisfying.
Grilled Stuffed Peppers: Hollow out some bell peppers and stuff them with a mixture of rice, beans, and cheese. Wrap them in foil and cook over the coals until the peppers are tender.
