Best Bait for Early Morning Bass Fishing

I’ve been getting into early morning bass fishing and would love some recommendations on the best bait to use. What have you all had the most success with during the early hours? I’m looking for both artificial and live bait suggestions. Thanks in advance for your tips!

MikeR for early morning bass fishing, I’ve had great success with topwater lures like the Heddon Super Spook Jr and the Booyah Pad Crasher. The action on the water tends to attract bass when they’re feeding near the surface. For live bait, you can’t go wrong with nightcrawlers or shiners. What type of water bodies are you fishing in?

MikeR for early mornin bass fishing, I’ve had great success with lures like the Whopper Plopper. The commotion they create on the water’s surface really attracts the bass. Another option that works well for me is a wacky rigged Senko.
